CARING FOR THE BIG GUYS

There are many types of animal veterinarians. One particular type would be the type that attends to large animals such as horses, elephants, giraffes, etc. although they try and help these animals it is a difficult job. They have to watch everything they do as well as the animal. Just because an animal looks to be under control they still find a way to fight back.
A typical day of a veterinarian would be: first appointments then attend to other animals. Attending to the animals would include giving vaccinations, tending to wounds, diagnosing diseases, treating sick animals, and help with difficult births. Most people tend to become veterinarians because they love to work with animals and would like to help them with whatever attention is needed.
Veterinarians don’t jus attend to animals such as livestock but they also attend to the wild animals or indigenous. Veterinarian jobs have slowly started to decrease. Now there is a need of large animal veterinarians. Most vets would rather work with smaller animals for their safety. Large vet animals are the highest paid vets in the veterinarian business. There really aren’t a lot of jobs available to vets. Many people apply and go to school for the occupation but most don’t always get jobs. Most people are afraid to work with large animals because of the safety issues.
